"Dah lama tak berjumpa, rindu rasa hati, inginku bertemu denganmu........." These are some of the lyrics of the popular song in 90's sung by the owner of the shop, Renggo with his band called Arrow. They were quite famous during that time with various hit songs and had many followers till now. After being 1st runner-up in Kilauan Emas [Astro's reality show], he involved in food business, and this shop was his new venture! I seldomly eat here before this and normally I love to eat the "char kuey tiaw" but sadly, that day the cook was on vacation and I had to choose another dish. This was my first try of Nasi Arab in normal shop [normally I eat Nasi Arab in Arabic Restaurant]. I would say the taste is quite okay even though the rice was not really smooth taste like original Nasi Arab but overall the taste of the dish was good and not that oily. SO those who would like to come here, the shop is just opposite the Puchong Permai's uptown! Near the T-junction with traffic light in Puchong Permai.

Review: Mbuji [boo:ji] Cafe
Hi everyone! Today I will share about my experience trying coffee in this cafe called Mbuji [pronounced as boo-ji]. This cafe has few other branches and the one I went to is in IOI Mall, Puchong. This cafe is situated on the first floor, just the opposite of Vincci, new wing of IOI Mall. With the theme of Africa with animals and the cosy seats, despite the small size shop, everything here is amazing especially the taste of the drink/coffee. You can try different types of coffee [beans] from various place, however, they will blend it with their house blend beans but the taste won't disappoint you at all. Again, if you are a coffee lover that has lower acidity taste, the coffee here is a must try one!

| This is just caramel latte! The bitter taste is just awesome...... :) |

| And this is us! Me and Alyaa! |
We were here initially not just for the coffee, but actually Alyaa had requested to watch Home movie after few days having fever and just staying at home... So, while waiting for the movie to start, we decided to hang out here first and we never regret that!!!! Or maybe just my pocket lor.....ahahahhahhahaha

Review: The Owl Cafe
Well, today I would like to share my experience with 2 friends, DD and Zuzu when we were having impromptu escape due to parking limitation at our university. We actually went out for lunch with my car, and I normally park by the roadside of IMU and regularly getting tickets for the illegal emergency parking. Right after we reached in front of the IMU, suddenly we saw the DBKL officers were busy giving out tickets to all vehicles along the road, so we then decided to go elsewhere for coffee meeting! And here we were - The Owl Cafe. We planned to go there since forever but the lacking of free time and also the hardship of getting parking here makes us forget about getting here. However, we finally made it and the result was really worth the waits.
This cafe is located in Bukit Jalil Link shoplots near the exit road to Kesas Highway. Just the opposite of a luxurious condo in green color one! Please excuse my weakness in memorising the name. You might as well google map the place here!
And these were the things we ordered during our first visit ........

| Zuzu ordered this "Magic White" Latte |
Ok, this latte taste between smooth latte and strong espresso. ahahhahahaha confusing? well, for those who really adore coffee with less acidity taste and love the stronger version of latte, would die to try this "Magic white". ehehehhe I guess so!
![]() |
| And I ordered this drink called "The symphony" |
The symphony is actually a drink that's combining passion fruit's base, lychee and soda. The taste was quite well and I enjoyed drinking this, you know after hours finding parking..lol.. It suits the hot weather nowadays. I recommend this drink to those who like the taste of freshness and sweetness.

| Lastly, this is "unknown" cake |
Sorry again, I can't remember the name of this nice cake. This cake was made with earl grey and rose . The rose taste is quite strong and so delish! I can see on that day, many people ate their waffles and I think I would love to try it sometime soon! Till then, go and try the food and drinks here by yourself!

How to make a Nice Latte!!!
![]() |
| I use this !!! |
Ok... what do we need to make a home-made cafe latte:-
The ground coffee [if you don't have coffee grinder at home!] - Just choose which brand you love the most.
Paper coffee filter [depend on how many cups you want to make]
| paper filters [I bought mine at Daiso! :) ] |
Filter holder
| filter holder [I bought mine at Daiso :) ] |
Cup and spoon
Fresh milk [or any kind of milk that you love!]
Sugar / caramel syrup/ vanilla syrup [optional]
Hot/ boiling water !
Now, how to prepare the espresso shot? [the black coffee portion]
| espresso shot! -sample- |
Put 2-3 table spoon of coffee into the coffee filter and then insert the filter onto the holder.
Then put the holder on the cup / mug. Slowly pour the boiling water into the filter till 1/4 of the cup / mug. Stir the coffee powder slowly. Take out the filter and put aside. Now you have your espresso shot.
For hot latte: Before making espresso shot, boil your fresh milk [3/4 of the mug/ cup]. Makesure to stir it and do not over boil the milk. [Note: If you want your milk frothy, please use the milk frother - well I don't have that at home]. Then quickly pour you hot milk into the espresso cup. [Note: You can add any type of syrups you like or sugar, or just drink it just like that!]
| Milk Frother [ Just buy at Daiso] |
For iced/cold latte: Pour 3/4 cup milk into the espresso cup.... In the separate glass or tumbler, put ice cubes [as many as you want] then pour the mixture into the glass. [Note: You can add your favorite syrups or sugar first in the mixture before you pour into the ice cubes' glass.]
Taraaa!!! super easy, you can forget about other coffee shops' drinks. Just make by your own at home in your comfort space.

Food Talk: Ko Hyang Korean Country Delights
Salam semua.... pekabo??? Ha today berjalan lagi dengan Fatin [my niece...Tasha's eldest sister] before sending her off to lrt station in Bukit Jalil.. She's now working in Ukay Perdana area as intern for her final year for 6 months there. Back to the topic please.....ahahhaa.. nak habaq la.... before doing my throwback on Korean food.... nak review on the latest hunt first...
Wokey...... Compared to The Street Cafe, I must say this place offers more clear MENU [got pictures for all meals.]... So easy la nak choose our food and drinks... Got variety of food yang you should try.. Most of them are street food in Korea but this Ko Hyang punye food tastes better and fresher....... Even though kimchi The Street cafe lebih sedap dan terasa keKIMCHIannya, the main dishes here lebih WIN!!!! Apapun both places ada pro n con mereka... Yang ketara, the seats here tak seselesa The Street cafe [sana boleh sandar...sini lebih macam kedai kopi...stool kayu jek :( ]... Tapi sebab the food tastes better and fresh lupe lah pasal masalah ketidakselesaan seats kami... Both of us ordered Dol Sot Bibimbap [me], and Beef Bulgogi Bokem [Fatin] ...Dol Sot Bibimbap dengan Bibimbap beza harga seringgit [ Dol Sot dalam hot pot mcm claypot but the regular bibimbap dalam steel bowl]... The quality and the quatity amatlah memuaskan hati..... Harga pun berpatutan [kena dengan tempatla.... Sunway pyramid kot...] ... So, those yang nak ubah selera sesekali try lah this kedai.....
![]() |
| From above: Beef Bulgogi Bokem & Dol Sot Bibimbap |
![]() |
| Happy faces!!!! |
So, next time carilah this shop : Ko Hyang Korean Country Delights [Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall
LG2.38A, Lower Ground Two]
Next to Teppanyaki.....sama level dengan McD......that area......near exit ke Sunway Hotel!!!
